This article offers a pragmatic and relational analysis of the controversial heuristic of cultural resistance and presents some of the problems that affect the production and distribution of the poetic discourses of resistance and emancipation. To that end, it focuses on the incorporation of the historicity and the historic contingency of conflict as key elements of the subjectification constituted by the poem of resistance as “poem for the political”. It also explores the applicability of certain notions common to the contemporary critical tradition, as developed by scholars such as Badiou, Mouffe, Rancière, Bal and Žižek.

Bakhtin and the Poem as a Sociocritical Subject Abstract Sociocriticism is a trend particularly developed in the academic sphere of the Francophonie. It incorporates some of the Marxist theoretical bases for literary analysis, especially as reformulated by Lukács and Goldmann, and in another direction also by Bakhtin and Adorno, with the aim of avoiding the mere description of contents and a series of different determinisms. Sociocriticism has usually been focused on the study of narrative fiction. This paper, however, will explore the extent to which sociocriticism could be useful in analysing poetry with an approach to the social as language, to interdiscursivity, and, in Bakhtin and Voloshinov’s tradition, to the ideological and dialogical status of every communicative act.

This paper describes the tradition of sociological studies on the social conflict and its growing topicality, with an increasing presence in various areas of the social sciences. Subsequently, the analysis focuses on providing an outline of the heteroglossal-dialogic poem which deals with social conflicts, and it shows the pertinence of a critical return to the proposals of Bakhtin and Voloshinov regarding poetic enunciation and itspossible modelling, for which alterity should be the required starting point El artículo describe la tradición de los estudios sociológicos sobre el conflicto social y su actualidad creciente, con presencia en diversas áreas de las ciencias sociales.
